OASIS LUNCHEON

What could be better than food, fun & friends?  Every first Thursday of the month, a Hot Lunch Program is held in the OASIS conference room for clients/consumers of OASIS. This program is offered free of charge.   Friends and families of OASIS clients/consumers are welcomed to join.  If you or your loved ones would be interested in participating, please call us at 850- 314-0950 and let us know how many people will be joining you.

HEARTSONG SOUTHEAST

Heartsong Southeast (formerly known as Heartsong Gulf Coast) is an organization dedicated

to providing spiritual opportunities to those living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.  From May 14 to May 16, 2010, participants from all over the southeast will attend the Heartsong retreat, coming together to discuss how living with the hardships of HIV/AIDS can be lessened, and how ones overall Quality-of-Life can be enhanced by exploring ones spiritual side.  To learn more about Heartsong and how to register for the 2010 event, simply click on the Heartsong Southeast logo to the left.

OASIS CHARITY GOLF CLASSIC* -- EVENT CANCELED!

The OASIS Charity Gold Classic will not be taking place from Saturday-Sunday, May 1-2, 2010 on the Pines Course of the Fort Walton Beach Golf Club like originally scheduled.

DINING OUT FOR LIFE

OASIS, in sponsorship with the nationally-recognized Dining Out for Life foundation, brings you a unique opportunity to help those affected by HIV/AIDS.  Restaurants throughout our four-county area will generously donate a portion of the sales obtained during this event to OASIS.  All funds raised will be used locally to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and provide humanitarian support and services to those affected by HIV.  Visit the Dining Out for Life website to learn more about this event, including how to participate as a restaurant, sponsor, or volunteer.

STYLE

This annual OASIS-sponsored fund-raising event is being held this year at the Sheraton Four Points hotel on Okaloosa Island.  This unique event combines fundraising efforts with an enchanting evening of fun, fashion, music, and art.  With a cash bar, musical entertainment, a silent art auction, and dinner buffet, all monies raised from this event go to fund various HIV prevention, community education, and client care services provided by OASIS.

POSITIVE LIVING

March, 12-14, 2010

Held annually at the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Positive Living is an HIV Education & Prevention Conference sponsored by Okaloosa AIDS Support & Informational Services.  With presenters from all over the U.S., Positive Living provides a relaxing, comfortable, and enjoyable HIV-relevant educational experience, which is both nationally and internationally recognized.  This three day event is one of very few remaining conferences of its nature offered in the United States.  Click here to see the topics that will be discussed at this year’s event.
