OUR FOUNDER

DAVID NEAL

1. In 1989, David Neal was diagnosed with AIDS.  His desire to be near his family resulted in him returning home to Okaloosa County in 1991.  David soon discovered a need of support services for persons with HIV/AIDS and their families.  A dream was born to fulfill those needs.
   
   

2. David spent the last year of his life pursuing this vision, seeing his dream become a reality.  David, his mother, and a host of friends created Okaloosa AIDS Support & Informational Services (OASIS), a non-profit AIDS service organization that continues to provide needed services to those affected by HIV/AIDS.
   
   

3. David's dream remains alive today within our volunteers.  Your contributions, whether in the form of monetary donations or volunteer efforts, will help ensure that David's dream will live on.
