OUR FOUNDER
In 1989, David Neal was diagnosed with AIDS. His desire to be near his family resulted in him
returning home to Okaloosa County in 1991. David soon discovered a need of support services for
persons with HIV/AIDS and their families. A dream was born to fulfill those needs.
David spent the last year of his life pursuing this vision, seeing his dream become a reality. David,
his mother, and a host of friends created Okaloosa AIDS Support & Informational Services (OASIS),
a non-profit AIDS service organization that continues to provide needed services to those affected
by HIV/AIDS.
David's dream remains alive today within our volunteers. Your contributions, whether in the form of
monetary donations or volunteer efforts, will help ensure that David's dream will live on.
